Toss Designs, a specialty boutique and gift store for women, will open a new retail store at the Town Center Corte Madera in May. Toss Designs, which features a colorful selection of totes, travel bags, purses, and accessories of all kinds in beautiful patterns and designs, will take over the space across from Starbucks. They will join Town Center’s diverse roster of businesses, restaurants and cafes. “Toss Designs is a great fit for Town Center, ” said Stan Hoffman, General Manager of the Town Center. “Many of Toss Designs’ customers live in Marin and will be pleased to find them conveniently located here. ” Since 2004, the girls at Toss have been living and breathing handbags. With a flair for fashion and an eye for detail, Toss has become the authority on totes, travel bags and all accessories in between. Fashion divas flock to Toss for the fresh patterns, unique color combos and functional shapes. Ranging from rolling duffels in wild and whimsical prints to beautiful caning totes trimmed in patent, each season’s assortment highlights the very latest in fashion and style. “We love the look and feel of the Town Center and believe that the location fits perfectly with our current Tiburon, Mill Valley, Belvedere customer, ” said Toss Designs owner Jennifer Hogan. “The Corte Madera location combines ideally with our other locations in St. Helena, San Francisco, San Anselmo and Palo Alto. ” Town Center Corte Madera, located on the West side of Highway 101 at the Tamalpais Drive exit, has become known as the Marin location for delicious healthy food, specialty clothiers and stores boasting unique home furnishings and gift items. Throughout the year, the Town Center hosts a number of community driven events like the annual Trick or Treat Day for kids, the world’s largest Thanksgiving turkey which collects donations for Marin Community Food Bank, Mulberry and free holiday gift wrapping by volunteers from Hospice by the Bay.
